Overview
Multi-Project Management is an important module for enterprise-level
users to manage projects and achieves overall coordinative
management for multiple projects. It mainly provides applications
for advanced managing-levels and project management departments.
It enables managing personnel to grasp overall status of each
project, therefore to effectively coordinate, control multiple
large-scale complex projects, providing decision-making with
resource, information and knowledge supports. With powerful
information centralization and reporting, this module helps
multi-project managing personnel obtain the complete picture
of progress status and overall information of each project,
therefore to making proper managing policies in time.
Functions
Multi-project request management collects human resources,
material resources and consumables from each project to make
multi-project request report, preparing for overall coordination
among multiple projects in limited resources.
Multi-project overall progress report is the progress report statistic sheet for all projects including progress status information of each project (i.e. number of finished tasks, number of milestones and percentage of finished project).
Multi-project overall expense report is the actual expense statistic sheet of each project including expenses and relative information of each project (i.e. consumables expenses, man-power expenses, material resources expenses, total data and etc).
Multi-project overall resources report is the actual resource list used by each project including man-power usage report, material resources usage report and consumables usage report, listing all resources names and knowing detailed usage information of certain resource via links.
Multi-project resource conflict calculation and management is featured with resource conflict calculation and management functions. It will calculate and analyze conflict situation between man-power resources and material resources in real time according to resource reports from each project, then form conflict report; it will then provide solutions according to importance of projects and rules like whether tasks being in the key path. In this way, managing personnel is able to deploy resources in coordination and solve the problem of resource usage conflict.
